Which boat do you see yourself in?

There are three Prema boats available: the 161, 141, and 121, which are 16’1”, 14’1’ and 12’1” respectively. All of them are surprisingly lightweight – the 16’er weighs as little as 200 pounds. That makes them easy to load on and off a yacht. And they seamlessly convert into a sailboat, rowboat or motorboat. (There is a model available without the sailing conversion if you prefer not to sail.)

The following accessories for the boats are also available: canvas, oars, motors, cushions and trailers.

Each boat is crafted by hand by one individual (builder Steven Hirsh) in a workshop especially constructed to maintain strict control of temperature and humidity. Since the walls are sealed to prevent an exchange of moisture, the inside is constantly dry. This is an ideal environment for wood epoxy construction. Because it’s such a labor-intensive process to build the Prema boats, only a few become available each year. Feel free to contact us for more information.
